Project Description:

James and Jackie had built this house 35 years ago and now it needed updating. To begin the project, we started with the floors. Throughout the whole house we installed 5" Hickory wood flooring.

Jackie had been frustrated because the space in the kitchen did not work very well. Both the kitchen and dining room were boxed in with cabinetry. In collaboration with Jackie and our cabinet supplier, we created a design for the kitchen that opened it up. The large island in the center now provides the needed storage space while serving the family as an eating bar.
