Project Description:

Jerry and Elaine were needing to downsize, as their children had grown up and moved away. They sold their larger home and bought a townhouse. They had been looking for less space, but the new house felt closed-in.

To remedy this, General Remodeling made a number of smaller changes, ending up with a dramatic result. They added windows, widened a doorway, removed a small bathroom to enlarge the kitchen, opened up the stairway by removing a closet and adding a new railing. Outside, they added a screen porch, leading out of the master bedroom. To top it off, they installed a custom tile shower and door for the master bathroom.
